Did you know a stained roof does NOT need to be replaced?  Many people don't.  But it can be cleaned and made new again for a fraction of the cost of a roof replacement.  The life of a roof should be at least 20 years, if not longer.  But a new roof will begin to show signs of staining after just 8 years.  Don't replace it, clean it!

Keeping a roof clean is part of maintaining your home.  Not only does it keep its curb appeal, but it keeps the roof in its best condition to help live out its twenty year plus life span.     

The unsightly stains are primarily causd by a fungus and appear on north sides of the roof.  Mold and algae will grow where there is extreme shade.    

The first thing you should ask when you decide to get your roof cleaned is, "how long will it stay clean?"  When we clean your roof, it will stay clean on an average of five years.  In June, 2008, we followed up with all of our customers who had their roof cleaned in 2002.  We've heard from many who have said their roof is still clean after 6 years!   

Our process is simple, but superior to others obecause we kill all  of the microorganisms causing the stains. The key word is "all" because anything less than that will lead to stains reappearing within a year or two.    

•  A blend of chemicals is applied to each shingle.  Absolutely no 
  pressure washing is used.
• Then a thorough rinse, again with no pressure.
